How Divorce Can Affect Everyday Life

Divorce can affect everyday life not only for the child, but also for both parents. For the child, the time spent with their parents is split, and they have to adjust to the rules of each house. Moving from house to house may be stressful and it can affect their free time and sleep, which can also affect how they perform in school. Because they are adjusting, some of their time can be spent on getting used to routines and responsibilities for each household instead of spending time studying or doing homework. For the parents, they would have to spend time with their child less, as their child is moving from house to house, so both of the parents and the child would have to adjust to new routines of everyday life. This can also affect their work because in the past, one parent might have switched on who picks up their child from school or one parent drops them off in the morning and the other one picks their child up from school. But because they are separated, they both would have to adjust their work schedules where they would have to wake up and leave work earlier.
